The Northwest NLD5G laser detector allows you to locate the laser beam easily in bright light and over long distances. It has a working range of 800 ft and can be held by hand or rod mounted with an adjustable rod clamp that fits most leveling rods up to 2-1/2" wide. It features dual front/back LCD displays and has easy-to-see arrows that can be read indoors or outdoors indicating the position of the detector in the plane of laser light. The NLD5G has three distinct audio tones (high, on-grade, and low) with three volume settings (off, medium, loud). With the press of a button, the user can choose between an accuracy of +/-1/16" (fine mode) and +/-1/8" (coarse mode). The NLD5G can be used with ALL rotating lasers (visible and invisible) sold today. The rugged plastic housing is gasket sealed for waterproof protection (IPX-4) and one 9-volt battery provides up to two to three months of normal use.
